About Us
Our Founder
Eva Ein is the head chef and ice cream maker at Eva’s Helado Artesanal, and partner at the 72-year-old McConnell’s Family Dairy. She is a Swedish immigrant with intersecting cultures, she is a purveyor, she is an advocate, she is a mother, she is a daughter, and she is the symbol of the American story.
As a Santa Barbara-based chef, Eva spent decades learning about the vibrancy and delicate flavors of her Latinx peers, teaching herself the proper balance of ingredients and how they paired with more commonly known and traditional American flavors.
Our ice creams were crafted in partnership with our multicultural, multi-generational team of ice cream fanatics and flavor aficionados, dedicated to making the finest ice creams.

Our Ice Cream
Eva’s Helado Artesanal is produced 100% in-house at our 72 year-old family dairy. Using only the finest ingredients, we blend traditional and globally inspired flavors to create a line of multicultural ice creams.
Eva’s is about you and Eva’s is about us. Like you she’s the culmination of life experiences, family upbringing, and personal joys. Each flavor is drawn from our interest in food, travels around the world, as well as our own Southern California backyard.
Eva’s is about tradition. The tradition of gathering around for a meal. The tradition of flavors and recipes being passed from generation to generation. The tradition of sharing flavors across borders and sharing culture through flavors. The tradition of making ice cream from scratch.
